Dear fellow collectors,
I received photos of samples of EM148A Lamborghini Countach LP400S Ch.1121112 1981 "C.R." from the Make Up. You can see a car phone in the cockpit. No ladies figures.
Variations are;
A: Black "C.R."
B: Red "US version"
C: White "US version"
Their smaller pictures are on the MU Web Shop.

Finally! Mike? Mike!!! I want one - right now! (er... please?)

They have done an incredible job getting all the little (and not so little) details correct - extra driving lights on the "bumper" mounts, the extended side repeaters (although they should be horizontal, not angled), the "flag" mirrors, the car phone, the four aerials (and in the correct places, too!), the rear bumper and the twelve exhaust pipes.
I hope the production models will have the Bertone badges fitted, though - it would be a shame to get everything else right and miss something like that... I also think it would have been better if it had tinted windows like it did in the movie, but that is not nearly so important as all the other iconic details.

I hope to have a 1/43 scale speed limit sign added to the display base on mine when I get it, with the 55MPH crossed out in red spray paint :o)

Thanks for that, Nobuyuki - you have made my day!

Hi Jono,
Don't worry! The Bertone badges will be on the production model reproduced with a etching parts. The exhaust pipes will be plated.

Jono, I do have these ordered and looking forward with great anticipation. I might have to rent the movie so I can make all of the detail comparisons.

Thanks for the great pictures Nobuyuki!

Really superb model and nice photos, thank you Nobuyuki.
Tell me, please, what does it mean "C.R.", and which movie are you talking about?

C.R. means "Cannonball Run". Look on the site of IMDB for more information: www.imdb.com

There's a nice website about the real car and its restoration:
http://www.cannonballcountach.com/

And there are also some YouTube clips of the film and some pictures on that site.
