My pictures are not as good as Mike's or some of our forum members but, I thought i would share another gem in my collection...

This car is the 1953 Ferrari 375MM #0368AM from the "Mas Du Clos" collection... This blue color is one of my favotites on a Ferrari

Thanks Guys... If i could pick a color for a brand new 1:1 Ferrari, it would surely be this color blue of close to it. TDF blue is one of my favorites!!!

James,
Those 375's certainly had presence. Maybe it was the long nose or it's slant, whatever, a real beauty.
Thanks for sharing.

Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve

Thanks Steve. I agree with you about its presence. The long nose and short tail give it an aggressive appearance... Gotta love those big V-12's!!! :-)
Can't wait to see your collection in person one of these days...

Very very beautiful model. One of my favourite.
So I own this model in 3 versions : the blue version Mas du Clos, the original grey color, and th race version Le mans 1954.

Beautiful models Herve and you are very lucky to own all 3 versions.
I think the light grey version is actually Beige in color? I almost purchased this exact model but the blue version was substantially cheaper. I love blue color the best anyway. :-)
I think the Beige color is more rare (only 16 pieces built) and how the car appeared at the Pininfarina stand before being repainted to light grey in 1953. I think it was then delivered to Paul Cavallier in light grey.. I have seen photos of the 1:1 car in beige on another forum. Pininfarina period photos..

exactly 3 versions ans 2 cars : the #0368 and the #0380

the light grey and the blue version :
0368AM was 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta, in light gray 015702, delivered to SEFAC Director Michel Paul-Cavallier. Was sold to the USA in the 1970's it came back to Europe and is part of the Bardinon Collection, it is displayed at Mas du Clos, looks stunning in metallic dark blue.

the race version :
0380AM was a 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta when it left the factory and was Genoa Show car. Teh color was close to beige. Then it was raced in the Mille Miglia and in the 24h Le Mans race. the color was red. In 1960 it has been spotted in a spectators parking lot. In 1996 it was owned by Roger Wheeler, Huntington Beach.

Post #14 shows 0368AM at Pininfarina stand photo's in beige color. The 0368AM model you have is beige in color, or are you saying it is light grey? It is a Export ltd. ed. of 16 pieces only correct? I also have color photos of this AMR model from a collector i was about to purchase it from. It appears to be beige in color?

Ferrari4evr1, perhaps you are thinking of Ferrari 410S s/n 0594CM, which is quite similar in bodyshape to 0368AM and was ivory / light beige in one stage of her life.

250GTE, i mean 0368AM not 0594CM. If you look at Herve's pictures, the car appears to be beige in color. Also, if you look at the ferrarichat forum link that i placed above, it shows 0368AM the real car at the Pininfarina stand. It also appears beige in color, instead of light grey. AMR listing of models state that this car is light grey as delivered SEFAC Director Michel Paul-Cavallier however, the pictures of this car and pictures from another collector who has one, look like it is beige in color. If it is beige, perhaps this was the color of the car prior to being repainted light grey and delivered to the new owner.. Not sure
