Is there a white metal kit or built model of the 997 GT3RS? Trying to find one to have a model made of a customers' real car. If no white metal, is there a resin kit? |

I always searching Porsche GT3 and GT2, but probably there are no white metal kits from them. Resin is also not available from the street car. Some of the last kits of provence moulage in 2006-07 were GT3 racing Porsches with detailed engine, but they were sold out in a minute. Somethimes one or two are listed on ebay and end up with astronomical prices :( |

I don't know of any kit either. There are some good and very good diecasts(ducking and running) of that car. AutoArt's is very good... It might get expensive but a custom could be built using one of those. |

Thanks, I may check out the diecast option. Might be possible to disassemble and redo. This customers' GT3RS is a one-off in grand prix white with blue script, blue mirrors, blue wheels, cf wing. It is gorgeous! The combination was done in the exact factory colors as the 1973 911 RS 2.7 which he also owned. I will check into the Autoart, isn't that 1/18 or are there 1/43 diecast also? |

Found it, 1/12 scale! Very impressive though. This would be a ton of work to disassemble, strip, and redo. I will keep searching for 1/43 diecast, don't need a full detail open/close version. http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/product/en/1595

Hi Mike,
AutoArt makes it in 1/43 scale too. Check out Ebay. There's tons of them |

There is a white w/blue 1/43 AutoArt on ebay now. It would'nt be hard to paint the mirrors and maybe do a carbon wing. |
