Do you own prints, canvas or original paintings of your favourite cars ?
Who are your favourites artists ?
Of course, photos are welcome.

I was looking at prints on ebay and it gave me the idea for this topic. Don't know if I put it in the right category though.

This is one actually on sale. I initially thought it was painted by Picasso... :)

I am a great fan of Tim Lazell (www.timlayzell.com)and should have bought one of his commissions when they were at £1,500 and before he became famous and now commands around £4,000....

I also like Dexter Brown's work (www.oliversart.co.uk)

One day...........

Is that price as much as I think it is? Could the painting of the car be as much as the real car?

I have bought eight Wu-Huang Chin prints off Mike over the last few years, but that is about my limit where art is concerned. It is an area I could very easily get into, but not only can I not afford it, I lack the wall space...

I would also love to have more automotive sculptures, too, but that is the same story - not enough money or room. I have a couple though, so I guess I should be satisfied with them.

I could never imagine spending that kind of coin on a piece of art, let alone buying it off ebay.

But, I wonder how many ebay bucks I would earn??? :-)

I have a wide selection of Nicholas Watts and Alan Fearnley prints that i collected over the years.. Mainly Ferrari (of course) but most of the editions i have are signed my drivers and sold out... I appreciate all artists. They all have different styles and techniques....

Jacques Brauer asked me to post these images of his work. This is an acrylic on canvas painting by Jacques representing Mercedes in Monaco 1937.

Another area that I collect in. Lot's of prints, serigraphs (a few Randy Owens), some posters, many photos, etc.

I am a big fan of Alfredo De La Maria. I used to own three of his originals; an oil and two water colors. Had to sell when I was was going through a divorce years ago.....ouch. I made a big profit on them, but still wish I had not sold them.

Wow, I had no idea that Brauer had talents in other areas of the arts. Not really surprising when considering his fantastic model work. I just didn't know. It's wonderful to see and know about.
