There are some masterbuilders from the east that are creating mindblowing models. Akihiro (its fantastic to see his work here), MOMO, Rosso, shimoma, Nomura (sorry if I forgot a name) Can anyone here tell and show us more?

In the front page of gdsit43 there is a list of link of masterbuilders, like MOMO (Kazuhiko Momose), Isao Nomura, Seiji Aoyama and Hideki Suzuki. On Raccoon's site page you will find work from Matsuyoshi Hayakawa (even if now he is selling his works through another site, which is K's collection) and Yasuhiro Shimoma. Enjoy... |

I think Hans meant Chan of Rosso Miniatures, in Hong Kong.

This will most likely grow to a very interesting thread. The skill and different philosophy of the Japanese masters is worth more than just a few postings. |

I know that some of my models deserve fine pics to be published. The problem is to make them. Otherwise you get pictures that don't render the beauty of this models. This is what has prevented me to make my own site. Then it's interesting to see the WIPs of this buildings. |

Piero, you have some treasures!
They deserve to be photographed! They deserve their own art-site! Would love to see some detailshots of the Shamoma's!
Isn't Max available for an italian vacation? (just kidding)

and another master craftsman from the East is Laurent Tay (Garage 43). Even Jacques Brauer praises him. Jacques once commented in my email exchange to him on Laurent-"This man has skill" |

Perhaps Max Tu would be willing to photograph your models. He does a fine job!

You just realised this Hans? They have been creating masterpieces for over 10 years now...possibly more. IMO it has a lot to do with the culture...they strive for originality and perfection.
