Collin's beautiful André Marie Ruf Collection and my purchase of a new camera has finally gotten me to post the first photos of my collection on this forum. Hopefully I can get it right.

The AMR 410S and Esprit43 GTO arrived this week, Laurent built the Daytona and 375MM for me last year. They are simply beautiful, and Laurent is such a great guy to work with.

Wow, that was easy, just read the old posts on the forum and the instructions are clear, here is a close-up of the Daytona. I scored the kit on eBay one day as a buy-it-now for an amazingly low price and Laurent turned it into one of my very favorite models.

I will work on my lighting setup and post more photos later, as the pool table light is hardly the best for rendering the fantastic colors Laurent painted these models.

That Daytona is really something, isn't it!
I love how having the front wheels posed on the 250 puts it on a whole new level - it is only subtle, but it gives the model a real sense of presence.

Laurent is a top builder.
Each one of his models is a masterpiece!
I feel lucky as I own more than 40 of his jewels.

Thanks for your kind words John and Jono! Laurent is the artist, and I love commissioning special works. Wow John, 40!?!? I would love to see them, I guess I will have to take my wife to Greece? Do you have a particular group of favorites he does for you? I am strictly white-metal now. Stephane of Built-up models in France is working on a super detailed Williams FW-11b F1 car for me right now.

All masterpieces. The steered front wheels of the GTO indeed bring the model some extra 'life'.

Over 40 Garage43-models is something else! Laurent is right now busy with my 5th, 6th and 7th model :-)

I think Laurent has built a similar number of models for me as he has for John. But then, he has been building for me for nearly ten years...

And not once has he ever produced a model that was less than absolutely perfect!
