Again a very nice and perfectly built model. Well done!!

How do you get such amazing perfect paintwork? I never seem to get such smooth finnish on my models. What paint are you using and how do you apply it (spray-can or airbrush)?
Do you pollish after painting?

Hi Pluscat
Thank you for your kind words. )))
To paint, I always use an airbrush.
The paint that I use,is the same that the actual cars scale 1 / 1.
That is, I use automotive paint for bi-coat.
First, is applied over the primer the color, in very thin layers of paint diluted 50%.
When the paint is dry and free of imperfections,
is applied on top, two-component lacquer (base + catalyst)
also diluted 50%, in very thin coats ,and with very little pressure on the airbrush.
If all is well applied, no need to polish.

Beautiful Porsche!

Thank you for your notes on your work.

Who's 2 part clear lacquer paint do you use? I have been using Dupont's Chroma Clear for years & most of the time I have to color sand & polish the finish.

Thank you very much, Jerry. I have heard of Glasuuit paint, but I have not been able to find it here in the US.
I will try the 50% thinning of the Dupont 2 part Urethane I use to get those nice thin coats you get.

Beautiful 956. I built the very old Mikeansue kit a few years ago & it was a fun custom.
