Jean-Paul has identified the next 5 Ferrari 250 GTOs he will build based on the AMR kits. He will share build photos but limited to differences from the first 5 GTOs. The next 5 are:
3445 GT – Red with yellow nose – Sebring 63 – Bordeu – Abate

Here is rear part of 3705GT. To suit Le Mans regulations, the air vents had to be closed, so that’s what we try to reproduce. You can also see the basis for the rear lights made of 2 plastic card strips. On some of the earlier GTOs, the rear spoiler was bolted on, so that part has been engraved on the model.

Front part of 3445 GT. Narrower radiator air intake compared to the ‘’standard ‘’ GTO, also different place for the 2 brake air intakes and the rectangular fog lamps. The 2 side lights are recessed and the third air intake above the radiator is longer.

Here is the front part of 3589 GT, still different. Narrow radiator air intake, with more oval shape and the little side lights have been displaced under the main lights.

Same cars seen from behind. Note on the dark blue 3589 that the small trap door for oil feeding behind the side window has been transfered from the right to the left side because this car is right hand drive. You can also see the bases for the rear lights on 3445

Interior parts for 5095, note the headrest on the passenger seat as often seen on the Tour de France GTOs.

Very nice, clean builds. I'm curious, how do you treat the inside of the body shells? Are you using single stage paint?

Hi Peter, this is Jean-Paul's answer to your question. Mike

Thank you for your question Peter. The inside of the body shells is painted with enamel or acrylic paints with a brush; easier and faster than spray painting (no masking needed) especially when there are several colors as it is the case of the GTOs.
