This is some serious stuff. Why is this important and serious? It is important because if you are a serious Ferrari collector you will know that this is the first win for Scuderia Ferrari in an F1 race. And you will know that Enzo Ferrari cared only about F1. The rest was a means to an end. The end being supporting his F1 team. 1951 British GP with Froilan Gonzalez. It is important because Mr. Suber's work represents serious dedication to an art. It is important because if you are a serious F1 collector you will know that Ferrari is the most important and oldest continuous team in F1 and that this work of art represents it's first victory making it one of the most important and historic racing cars that ever took to the track. and I am serious about that and that's important too...;-) |

Jono and Ferrarinut, I love the edit feature on your Forum. I don't think I spelled three words in a row correctly the first time around. |

This built is pure history.
BRAVO Fred!!
After this WIP I vote for the need of a book with Suber's work.

John
John, for your information, there is a book on Fred's work but the subject concerns only his Vintage Car Collection range. ;)
I don't know if I am allowed to talk about this on Mike's forum. Please Mike, if there is any problem with that, delete my post. |

Holy ... I know we cannot curse on the forum, but you can assume I did. The work is stunning. I love WIP pics, especially from the super builders. The amount of time and detail is always astounding to me. To not only have the tools, but the skill, to complete a car with Swiss Watch like detail, is wonderful. I am just glad Fred is in this hobby, rather than building watches for Patek Philippe. I always enjoy the quick history lesson as well, as not all collectors are fully knowledgable of the F1 history. Especially in the states. Thank you all for sharing.

Cheers, George. Actually, the edit function was specifically for you - the rest of us don't seem to need it :o)
