I've acquired a few models over the past years. Below are a some photos of a selection from my collection. I also recently purchased a collection of 50-60 hand-built models from the 80's. I'm not sure they are worthy of display here given the high level of most of the stuff posted.

Post them anyway, if you feel like it - sure, the build quality of that vintage seldom matches modern stuff, but they are still quite often fascinating from an historical standpoint.

Thanks Mike, I would never have been able to make out that signature.

I saw your post yesterday that he just passed away; I did not know him, but sad nonetheless.

I really don't understand why, whoever built this, would have painted it white?!

This model is labelled as a Ferrari 212 Export 1951 - I'm not sure that's correct. It has many similarities to the Ferrari 212 Inter, but I cannot find any Ferrari that really matches this model. Any feedback or comments are welcome.
