Posted - 08/17/2012 : 13:38:20 hi friends, i am not a model - builder and i havenīt found an answer anywhere so i will try it here. on some of my older bbr models one of front light-lenses is missing. i have some new lenses, but they are too "white" and looking too new (the older ones are already little bit yellow). do you have any method to make them "older"-looking ? any lotion ? to the hot - sunshine ? and what with cars where both (old and new lense) are already attached on the car ? thanks a lot for your advice. max |

Posted - 08/17/2012 : 23:32:20 Tamiya has a whole range of transparent paints. These are great for lenses front and rear. For your lenses you can use yellow: the more layers you apply with your brush the darker the colour. Colour code is X 24 and the paint is available at good hobby shops at a couple of euros or dollars.Make sure you have a good brush.
