Posted - 09/29/2012 : 21:09:55 Does anyone know if there is/was a 1/43 kit of the 1951 Ferrari 212 Export Vignale Coupe #0092E?
I have decided I would very much like to have a model of 0092E in its restored black/green colour scheme (Pebble Beach, 2010), but I cannot seem to be able to find anything that might be a suitable base to work from. BBR Classic had a factory built one (BC05), but it does not appear that they ever released it as a kit - and in any case, the BBR is perhaps a little bit crude for the level of build I want.
An AMR would be nice, but I do not think he ever did this particular car :o(

Posted - 10/08/2012 : 13:26:40 hi Jono. no, I wish. We talked some numbers, but all things added, it really became a very expensive model. A bit too expensive, considering that at the end of the day it is a Jolly Model.
He is also busy with an exciting project on Ferrari 342 America Vignale s/n 0232AL, based on a Piranha kit. The only Vignale bodied 342 America convertible. Hope to be able to add one of those to the stable. But that is a whole different matter.
Fred, looks very good indeed! |
