Posted - 10/25/2012 : 21:22:03 Makes sense Mike...apparently race development convinced them to integrate it in 67 [Ferrari was never fond of tack on spoilers].
I try not to look to other makers for historic reference but try to rely on historic period photos. I have seen some odd guess's on models in the past ;)
And Jono you are correct...MG Models has the same tail, but as with most of their models the car is a bit clunky looking...it needs to be modeled low and sleek! |

Posted - 10/25/2012 : 20:22:01 Peter, I have Doug Nye's book on the Ferrari Dino. The 66's sported tab's but the 67 and later versions appeared to have integrated spoilers. From what I can see, the car driven by Follmer and Kolb had tabs. This was chassis 008. I have the Le Phoenix kit of the Targa Florio #210 car. That car in Nye's book had the rear tabs so I conclude Le Phoenix had the car wrong.
I started with a Google search and haven't found any good historic photos to confirm this is correct. If anyone has some feel free to post them. [/quote]
