Did BBR ever produce this model (228A/228B/228C) on the red leather base? I've seen one of the versions on the "deluxe" stitched leather base, but otherwise every one I've seen is on the standard black plastic base. I would like to add these to my collection, but don't want to hold out for a leather base version if it doesn't exist. |

Thank you Christian. I just happened to hear from Rainer G. this morning also, and he provided me some images of BBR228 on the leather base. Now that I know they (and all the other BBR models) were made on the leather base I will keep my eyes open for a used one on Ebay. |

every model is produced on red leather base
the problem is that they are all sold out before they are built |
