Posted - 04/16/2010 : 08:51:33 Good point! The actual Porsche in 1963 was originally designated as a 901 and, as you know, because of some legalities, was then changed to 911. Nevertheless, AMR designated the car as a 911. |

AMR did, in fact, release two Porsche 911 Civile 1963 (the first year of 911 production was 1963) kits in 1981 and 1982 (produced for and sold by Minichamps). |

Posted - 04/14/2010 : 07:43:36 There cant be a 1963 Porsche 911 kit as the car didnt exist at that time. Maybe you mean the 1968 or 1969 911 versions. These are the only vintage 911s from AMR I know in non-racing livery. Dont know if they are rare, but they are not very expensive. |
