Sure that the side decals on the Daytona striped car should read "Cocra"? Not "Cocoa"?

...I'd like to have the correct lettering on my exemplar:

This comment is definitely lost in the translation...I have no clue what it means.

In any event I had wanted to also say I have seen these types of typographical errors on decals before [especially when one country is reading an others language]and IMO it's harmless. Not much one can do.

Didn't translate anything in fact. I simply meant that collectors who spot too many errors in models are never happy and after all never enjoy collecting.

Jono, Jean-Paul sent this answer to your question. Mike
“ the material used for the base is a piece of wallpaper found by chance in my favorite department store ; simple and effective . “

Peter, Jean-Paul sent this reply to your compliment. Mike

“thanks Peter, but all merit goes to Mike Craig, as I only used the parts and decals provided in the kit. Still following your work on the GTOs R with a lot of interest!“

Thanks...and I discovered the decals for the vents last night as I decaled my sets... effective yet I will attempt to drill the windows but it may fail, they are very closely spaced...wish me luck!. It's a good thing Mike Craig provides extra glass!

A model from Remember has the same mistake. Must be "COCOA.FLA."

Exactly but the mistake was eventually corrected in the most recent exemplars. It's an easy task, it's sufficient to cut another "O" from the same decal. However nor the Remember nor the Esprit43 decals feature the correct font (narrow letters). Oh well...
