Hello,

Might someone know if the Ferrari 375MM Berlinettas, that raced during the 1953 season (e.g., Ricci team), had two pair of dual exhaust pipes or two exhaust pipes that bifurcated at the rear of the car?

The 375MM's that ran in Pan Am 1953 has a pair of dual exhaust pipes painted black.

The 340 Mexico's had 2 single pipes also painted black.

Thanks very much. Do you know if car #26 was a 340MM and later a 375MM with the addition of a 4.5L engine? Of note, the 375MM (#26 car) by BBR has 2 single exhaust pipes.

#26 was built new as a 375 and had a nose job mid season. It ran at Lemans without covered headlights. As for BBR, they are far from perfect when it comes to details but they try. It's sometimes very hard to find pictures from this race.

I am not the Pan Am answer man, I just did this link to show some photos that I have found on the internet.
