Assembly continues with the chassis mounting points machined exactly to the required ride height and to add rigidity to the flimsy resin frame of the kit. Also to add support to the engine assembly.

Setting the rear end of the car to the proper height to allow removal of the wheels.

Front ride height set and fuel filler aligned with body.

Fuel tank assembly modified so it can be displayed open when the body is removed

Assembly and installation of fuel cell. The filler is operable and the owner has the option of display as it is seen in the last photo or with the floor in place.

is the chassis strong enough to keep the weight of he body over the future years? I have some older models that have the problem of deforming because of the weight.. The resin in those models isn't strong enough.

That is the reason for the additional support I have engineered under the engine and trans axle assemblies therefore taking the weight and stress off of the main section of the chassis. The interior "tub" also adds stiffening once in place...no worries.

Hello Peter, questions: You say painting of stripes!
So, you don't use the blue decal-stripes? Are they no good?

For the rest, amazing work! :-)

The decals are somewhat thick and brittle. Take extreme care even with the roundels. So...for me it is easier and a better end result to paint the blue due to the complexity of the nose and tail.

Thanks for your kind words.
