The first coat of clear is applied...in my world I call this a "scratch" coat.

The wheels have been upgraded from the cast metal to machined rims and stainless spokes.

Much better!

Now in the final stretch the body has been wet sanded, small imperfections in the decals corrected and the chassis is plumbed and wired. In the next update the body will have its final finish, the wheels will be ready to install and the glass will also be installed.

The glass installation is very interesting so stay tuned!

Final clear applied, wet sand and polish then on to and final fitting of body elements. Each and every one will get this "dry fit" prior to final installation.

Details, details, details!

The windshield is installed using a "real" rubber gasket that holds the glass in place. A metal trim piece will be installed
next.
