Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but does anyone know exactly when BBR was established? When BBR01 (the first BBR model) came out? 1984?

this is not clear
25 anniversary catalogue says 1984 - 2009
BBR 1 was built in 1984 but was not the first model
the first models LM 1 or SM 1 ? where built in 1983

I have the book Il grande piccole that BBR made in 1996.
In the book SM1 is the first being produced in 1983.
If you are interested in the history of BBR I would try to obtain the book, its regularly seen on ebay.

Balestrini sign = builder of the master
107 = number of the production of the year
It cant be the limitation of the model because i have some numbers which are very high

ECO models
the firm before BBR was founded
you wil find the sign from Mr Barberis on some of the models
B Balestrini B Barberis R Reali
Mr Barberis went off before the BBR firm was founded

Tacot shop in Mulhouse / France - still alive
Rex shop in Milan / Italy - closed
Bal Car shop in Bale / Suisse - closed

I just listed a very rare BBR from 1984 on ebay. It is CA01 for Calandre #01. 1966 Ferrari 250 GT Spyder Nembo 1966. Does anyone know the story behind "Calandre"? Another shop in Europe perhaps?
