Hi fellow collectors. I am wondering if there are two types of wheels available in the "little" automotive aftermarket.

First, I am looking for "Rudge" wheels which were used on the Porsche 356 Speedster (were available as additional equipment) and also on the racing versions of the Mercedes 300SL. And other cars, but I dont know exactly which ones. I have taken a look around but havent found any.

Second, I need your opinion regarding the AMR wheels for the E-Type Jag. Are those the best type of wheels available for that specific car in 1/43rd or are there better ones? As Jaguar Borranis were different to the ones Ferraris "wear", it doesnt make sense for me to put Bosica wheels on such a model...

Any help?

For the Jags I would use the AMR wire wheels painted silver, not chrome. I never liked chrome wheels on Jaguars or Ferraris, too much bling-bling like those guys at the car shows who wear too much jewelery. This is a small complaint I have with many BBR models, too often they have incorrect chrome wires when they should be painted. Rainer is very good about making sure his series have the correct painted wires, thank you Rainer! You get it.
