Yes it's a very sad story as there are hundreds of such rare exotics which should be saved, one way or the other, before they've rotten beyond saving. I hope the royal family would show at least some sort of sense to sell them away if they themselves won't take any care of those cars anymore, but are just letting them stand there in heat and humidity. Maybe oil brings again too much money for them so they don't need to sell them for the money, but not enough to invest any in the maintenance of the collection. :(

as sad as it is, it is not just them who have these cars stored away. most ferrari owners average put only 1,000 miles a year on their cars. At Ferrari of Washington, there was a 2003 550 with only 750 miles on it!

But now here is where it gets interesting. the the ones with the high miles, are the ones that last, and do not need as many repairs.
