There are several threads here that show my collection.
Started with handbuilts around 1985 (BBR/AMR)
was 18 at the time, a handbuilt costed a fortune!(budget was limited back then)

Hans, Thanks for pointing me to your amazing scale car collection! Truly amazing! All the various scale models all incredible. You must be very proud! Love all the models. Your AMR collection is something else! The scope of your collection is incredible. It's fun to browse through all the photos etc. I will return to view these in the future.
I started building models when I was 10 then when I was 18 I built 1/12th Tamiya F1 models, bought my ist 1/43rd scale AMR in 1978. I was hooked! Thanks Ron

My apologies Ron, Hank. I should have mentioned the 365 GT/4 NART was built by Steve Barnett 2-3 years ago. I have included beside it an identical model built to a good standard. (The wing is detached and stored).

The last few pictures are of 250 GTO s/n 3705 Noble/Guichet 1962 LM. Made by S. Barnett on Superior base about 2-3 years ago.

Wow ! Steve
You are so lucky and fortunate to have such awesome models by Mr. Barnett. Beautiful! I love your idea of open version next to Barnett all open! I can bet you have other Barnetts! I bet you never grow tired of looking at the Barnetts. Thanks again for putting them on the forum for all of us to see and admire!
Have you bought any models from Mini Grid in Canada? I purchased most of my early AMR kits from there from 1978-1984.
Thanks Ron

MAN!! I LOVE THAT GTO!!

I passed on a Make Up GTO kit. Later I heard it sold for $300...
(one of those moments you will NEVER forget.

Ron, thanks for the compliments, As said Old "hand"built models are the best! I will add some pics I made last week, 21 factorybuilt 1:14's in 1 picture... never saw that before, including a ADB 1:14 250 Lusso. (10 made in 1986 and never saw another anywhere).

Hans

Hello Ron:

Thank you for your kind comments. I have been to Mini Grid in Toronto few years ago. Back then I just started collecting (diecasts) and so I wasn't buying too many handbuilts yet. I have only one other Barnett, a 315S which I will post. Regards, Steve.

Who built the #75 curbside and #111 very nice. I have #111 kit I like the BB512's. Ron

Hi Ron:

The #75 is a very good quality built that I bought on Ebay 3-4 years ago. Builder unknown. I bought the #111 around 2003 from Paolo and Enrica Tron. Next I would like to get 1 or 2 red Brauers. A 250 GT SWB or almost any other red Ferrari by him would be awesome. The next few pictures show the 3 generations of the GTO : S.Barnett/Le Phoenix/ Calsito 01/30.

Well, there are the three GTO generations.

Barnett Bosica 375MM. Hans you mean something like this! I bought Bosica model 1985 from Peter Wingfield and was fortunate to arrange for Mr. Barnett to build it in 1997.
