On the forum 1/20 you can see pictures of the wiring of the Ford V8 engine, the spark-wiring is not coming from the back side. |

You are right! I even start wondering if Laurent did it the right way, cause even with the 1969 engine the wires are coming from the backside! |

Hello Jotace, long time no see :)thank you. Peter, the flux is to help fixing the solder with the brass or the white metal, I use it always.
I get that...but when I am soldering to white metal it's not needed, just some roughing up [common metals]. I use flux paste and find it is much easier to control the flow and a lot less messy. |

Really??? Have you ever used a liquid flux?? For me I find that using paste leaves a residue that gums up my files quick.

Sorry, not here...different strokes I guess ;) I didn't intend to be a critic...just looking to see what others experience Joe.
I just wash off any residue anyway. It's water soluble.
I find the liquid tends to run off too quickly, even with a hypo needle. That's just me. |

Fantastic. I've seen many techniques that I want to try. Your 'art in miniature' is superb. Thanks for sharing. John |

Truly fantastic work Ricardo! Thank you for sharing the process. This is one of the most beautiful F1 cars from the 60s and a personal favorite of mine. |
