This seems to be the night of planning for some new projects and as a little teaser have a look at this vintage film clip.

I will be making a one off model with engine detail based on the AMR kit. I will show some photos of the kit and the engine components once I have it all gathered together.

It is a very special film indeed...I have just commissioned Cricket of Racing Dioramics to do a figure of Graham Hill to include in this presentation. She is without question one of the best figure makers in the industry.

"Cricket"? Is that a nickname for for Crittenden, or a typo...? :o)

Well done, Peter. That is to be practical.
I usually do the same for the front hood hinges.
The only difference is that I use a hollow tube of brass of 0.5 mm, in which I enter the brass rod, instead of bending and wrapping a flat piece of brass.

That's one of my reference photos, and he is on the correct side of the car ;)

Note the wheels have the blue tint with polished edges. I have yet to see a built 1/43 with them.

Hi,
I am not aware that #4399 in its '63 body configuration ever had blue wheels... when #4399 was rebodied by the factory it did appear with blue wheels no argument....

Photographic evidence of the #63 body with blue wheels is difficult but Graham Turner (artist) painted this of the Goodwood TT and 'no blue wheels'....

I know...it's a difficult call but when I look at all of the color reference I see a silver edge and blue inner rim. If the color was off on the photos I am pretty sure the whole rim would appear to be blue. It's a subtle tint so in my opinion no harm in going with it. Let's call it artistic license ;)

Wonderful model, Peter, but are you sure about the position of the rear roundel?
