That's the particularity of an open forum.
Every model presented will always be the subject of appreciations, critics and comparisons. Especially if the model concerns one of the most legendary race cars.

Even if I am not convinced by a model, I'll keep it for me.

In general, a model has always weak and strong points. For example, the Marsh models P4 is quite good in shape but lacks a lot of details.
If I allow myself to give an opinion on this particular Make Up model, I'd say it isn't perfect in shape (but which 1/43 P4 is ?) but it has a rare level of details for its price range and it will have the famous Make Up finition.
It is certainly no bad investment and I am sure Mike will sell a lot of these.

buy what you like.. i will for sure buy them.. they are fascinating and i dont have any p3 or p4 in my collection so if this is the "best" one at this point in time then it will be added.. amr/annecy kits are hard if not non available.. so the next best is to buy one of these.. at the end of the day no 1/43 model will be accurate.. there will always be nit picky things..

All valid points including Paolo's, perhaps I was a bit harsh, knee-jerk reaction. I don't want anyone to misunderstand. I think criticism is a must and is welcome, I encourage it. In fact I agree about the ride height but overall I think Make Up has done a spectacular job with such a complex shape. I think the P4 must be at least as difficult to capture in 1/43 as the 250 GTO. If we based our buying decisions on 100% accuracy, we would all have empty display cases.

What triggered my harsh reply had more to do with manners than criticism of the model. I just feel it is in very poor form for another dealer to make a statement that he would not buy this model on the host dealers' site.

With regard to 250 gto you're right, so many little differences among scale models, but Liatti's in my opinion is the best...
