Hello everyone,

I have just signed up to the forum. I am looking for some help trying to source some Remember photo etched wheels (part number W14). I originally bought some from an ebay seller called "sebring1971" abiut 18 months agobbut unfortunately they do not exist any longer :( can anyone help me find some of these wheels? I need 5 sets to finish my collection.

Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

Rob

I didn't know sebring 1971 had disappeared. I'm glad I stocked up when I did. This guy has many of the items that sebring 1971 used to sell. You might write to see if he can get them for you.

HTH and Good Luck,

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the link. I had also found the seller you mentioned a couple of weeks ago and have emailed them asking. As of yet, I've not had a response :( hopefully he gets back to me shortly. Does anyone else have an alternative contact I could approach? I've emailed a couple of model builders who have a history of building 1:43 scale GTOs but nothing yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed something comes up :)

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the information, that is good to know that it is the same person. Hopefully he gets back to me after Christmas. Do you know what name he goes by on the forum? I may send him a message on here too as I think eBay ones expire after a certain amount of time.

You might try www.deroosautominaturen in Holland. Arjan stocks many kinds of wheels and delivers fast. Why not go for Bosicas, though?

Hello Harm,

Thank you for that website, it looks like he may be a great source of help.

I only started really collecting about 18 months ago and only learnt about Bosicas last week. As I already have 10 GTOs in my collection with some Remember wheels fitted it is going to be cheaper for me than buying 15 sets of Bosicas to make them all match. My GTOs are made by Brumm so not quite up there with some of the high quality builds I've seen on this forum but still a nice & affordable collection :) I'm going to set up another thread with my 1:43 collection shortly to show everyone

I'm glad you had good luck with Sebring 1971 or Kuky or whatever he calls himself now on ebay. He stiffed me for 3 sets of Porsche 550 wheels. He sent the wrong wheels and I returned them for the correct ones but never got them. I got tired of trying to contact him. Chalk one up to 'live and learn' Maybe that's why he went by multiple names on ebay.

Just wanted to point it out that I am not interested in cheating buyers for an USD 5 Worth item - especially now that I am doing nearly 30k USD a month; the new account is only given to the fact that the base of my new company is now in France.

And worthless to say that the latest post damages my commerce and my reputation. If it is not removed from the forum in the very next hours I will contact my legal to take the necessary actions.

@David; You have been watching too much US legal/lawyer shows on telly! Your own latest comment damaged your reputation: it is never good policy to threaten your customers, old or new! Thx to your latest comment, I promise I'll never buy anything from you!
