Does somebody of the members have mailcontact lately with DVA Models??

Maybe they have a mailproblem? I have mailed several times hope they could inform me about my order.

I have ordered a Ferrari 333 SP at DVA. The model has been shipped round about Sep 20. The latest tracking info tells that on Sep 23
"Processed Through Sort Facility"

After this there is no information anymore. Dutch post could not trace the parcel also.

If you can find another DVA customer who is getting replies from Andy, have them ask for a digital photo of the EMS form that shows the tracking number. Based on what I see your model never left the US.

I have had this same thing happen when shipping overseas. Sometimes it has shown up this way until it actually leaves customs on the other end. If it shows up as "sorted" it has most likely been shipped. This means it has been scanned by the post office where it was dropped off.

I have had some parcels take 30 days to arrive via Express Mail due to customs...and have had Priority Mail arrive in 7 days!

This one is well beyond 30 days so Andy can call USPS and start an investigation, very simple to do but he needs to answer his emails first. It is almost 60 days now so something is not right about this one. I have never lost an EMS parcel in 15 years using this service. I do not believe it ever left the US. There would have been a scan on entry into customs abroad and one showing dispatch from US customs, not just the local sort facility. It appears it never left the local sort facility from what I can see. The only person who can assist is Andy but he has not responded to the buyer. Andy is the only one who can initiate the investigation so if anyone reading this has been in touch recently with Andy and is getting replies from Andy, please inform him that this buyer needs help with this parcel.

Yes...60 days is quite some time. And when you factor in the bad PR they have had recently it doesn't look good.

It is a fact however that shipping overseas [at times] can be a challenge with the post office.

I had recently a similar problem with another seller as she sent me the tracking code for USPS priority shipment and USPS tracking site provided just the similar info "Processed Through Sort Facility". After some weeks I questioned the seller what is the problem and she replied she had forgot to post the package (still stood on her desk as she replied) but she had already printed the labels from USPS site for it. So counting my experience, it is possible that the parcel never even left DVA.

Excellent point, DVA must use the USPS website service called "Click and Ship". This is what I use to print pre-paid shipping labels. It gives you the shipping documents with a tracking number but unless you take it to the post office and get a register receipt and red date stamp on your 4th invoice copy, the parcel goes nowhere.

Actually I just sold a kit on eBay and used their link for the post office. After I PAID for the postage it kept coming up on the print page corrupted...this is the second time and I am loosing patience with them. Now I had to cancel the label and take it to the post office. Normally when I use my business account with the post office I just print it and drop it...no problems. As soon as eBay gets involved it never fails to get screwed up!

Thanks guys.

I am going to mail again to DVA models. Hope they will answer.

But I think I'll never see this model in my collection.

I just came back from the Post Office and there was a customer there who had sent a package to Canada in October. It arrived in Canadian customs in early November . They sent out a notice to pick up the parcel. No one picked it up so they sent it back to the States. This whole scenario took two months!

I know it sounds absurd but true.

If the package made it through a "sort facility" it had to have been shipped.

Some new developments in the DVA case:

I have to apologise, for writing the truth:

Anything I could do for you? After you defamate me online? I could start talking with you only after you go on ferrarichat.com and apologise for what you wrote. Shame on you.
Andy

Ferrarichat:
Hello:

I already wrote personal emails to the moderator of the forum to remove these posts as they obvoiusly are against the rules of the forum (rules state no defamatory messages) and he said he will remove them when he will have time. So in the meantime I defende myself again this Gentleman who wrote false defamatory messages. These are the emails he sent to me, as the model was mailed in September, so BEFORE he posted this online. I provided tracking info, and then the package misteriously was stocked in custom and returned back unclaimed. This person should watch out before stating the false online and defamate people because my patience has his limits. I put "xxxx" instead of his lastname and email address for protect his privacy.

Citeren Andy Dolermo <dvamodels@yahoo.com>:

Andy,

Thanks for mailing the trackingcode.

I don't know why this all is necessary.

You have to believe me I have not received the trackingcode before this and also never ignored your mail.

Because why should I? I definitely want the model.

Best regards
Dirk

If the parcel made it overseas there will be tracking history available online showing that it entered customs, cleared customs and delivery attempt was made before it was sent back. I would request a photo of the EMS shipping form before resending to confirm address is written correctly, you might also ask for a copy of the first one to see the mistake.

The story goes on ferrarichat.com:

Dirk, you are not only lying, violate this forum's rule, difamate DVA Models, but also write personal email addresses on the forum. Well done.

Of course you forgot big part of the communication, which I am not posting online as my lawyer suggested me not to. You will soon receive news from him. Hopefully the letter from the lawyer will reach you. Andy
