Andy should just provide a photo of the original EMS form. When one of my customers does not receive the parcel, I send a photo of the original document. When the model is returned by the other countries' post, I take a picture of the parcel and send to the buyer and give them the option of a refund or try sending again and double check the address. It's that simple. Dirk should get a picture of the original EMS label, this will tell everything. Not just the tracking number. This is easily created in Click and Ship. Show the label.

I just saw this post and I am replying now. Who followed the ferrarichat thread about this matter would have understood what happened. Basically model was mailed in September, even the received admit the usps website gave record of the package being mailed and not being just a click and ship charge. Even if there is no record of first package a second model was mailed 1/13 and I informed online about tracking info. Also, after requesting perimission to the Post Office Manager I took a picture of the Post Office clerk holding the model next to the box and custom forms, just in case ppl would raise the issue package was mailed but there was no model in it.
USPS is offering horrible services in this bad economy times, had issues also with a shipment of 30 models in England, 5 models in France and numerous other small shipments. On the other hand I just found out from a friend that a package he sent with FedEx on dec 28th just vanished in New Jersey. Thank you for the people who tried to reason in this forum and can read black on white, I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you are blaming someone no matter what.

ooooops.. I meant.. "Thank you for the people who tried to reason in this forum and can read black on white, I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you are NOT blaming someone no matter what."

I have to be more careful when I write something in english not to forget the "not" because it does change the meaning of what I want to say. (blush)

DVA Model of the Ferrari 333 SP, Spa 1999, received saturday January 28.

So within 2 weeks received the model. Most of the delay was at Dutch customs.

Hello everybody. Just adding one more part on this matter, a couple of years later. More drama involved with shippings (about 2/3 shipments each year has to give issues, specially when international buyer want to save on shipping costs)but I just thought this was very interesting and decided to bring this to your attention. Package mailed to Italy October 22nd and vanished in Chicago on October 24th. The buyer was an honest gentleman in Rome and sent me an email last week saying that he got the package and all was good. But what was going to happen if he decided to just pretend he never got it? Just something to ponder about. https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action?tRef=qt&tLc=1&tLabels=+CJ182224725US+

Sorry Andy, but I think it is past time this topic was closed. It is no longer helpful, as most of us here are already well aware of this ongoing controversy - and we do not want this becoming unpleasant again.
